Art Fashion Honor was born from my desire to celebrate the relationship between Art Fashion & Military Life (Honor). As the mother of a United States Combat Marine, now a 100% disabled Veteran, I wanted to honor the men & women who wear and have worn the uniform of our Armed Forces. As the business owner of a fashion company that redesigns vintage clothing I found a way to combine my passion for fashion and for helping those who service or have served in all branches of the Military. Of course I could not do this without my new friend and co-founder, Paul Cote. An amazing artist who saw my vision, agreed to share it with me and make it his. Paul has taken the time from his very busy career to create our one of a kind Military Artistic Apparel. I thank God every day that my son made it home, that my friend Cora introduced me to Paul, and that the vision for Art Fashion Honor came together and is now a reality.
My artistic journey since its conception has been one of organic, raw and unbridled passion. From the depths of my personal darkness came forth pure energy and light . The ART FASHION HONOR project came forth as an extension of my connectivity with nature and the universe. It’s conception began with my new friend, Elizabeth, who has been surrounded by military personnel from her endless hours at the VA Hospitals with her son Justin. She knows first hand the unfortunate state of the forgotten soldier that permeates throughout America and the world. Her drive is fueled by honesty, faith and a desire to honor those that have served so proudly . I am so honored and humbled by our project to honor the men and woman of the military .It is one of remembrance , hope and gratitude …Coté www.paulmcoteart.com
Some people are just special. Our friend Kent Stetson, an amazing artist and handbag designer, is one of those people. In the middle of designing, producing and packing an order for a bunch of famous “housewives” he stopped production to sew the name tapes on each jacket! We greatly appreciate his help. Please visit Kent at www.kentstetson.com It’s pure eye candy.
